| Hello all, One of the reasons I started this site was to probe topics I couldn't explore in "normal" journalism outlets. One such topic was last week's post on restaurant gratuities (When Tipping is Included, Who Gets the Tip?). A number of upscale restaurants are now including a service charge on your check, a la Europe. This seems like a fair and convenient solution. However, some restaurant operators are playing fast and loose with the money they collect, and many famous ones have been sued (successfully) over it. This is just one example of our commitment to bringing you news you won't find elsewhere. These stories will keep coming. Many thanks for your support. Keep reading, and we'll keep the truth coming.
